Privacy Policy

1. What we collect
When you sign in with Asana, we store your name, email address, and profile photo URL from your Asana account. We also store an OAuth access token and refresh token so we can read your tasks on your behalf.
We read your task data (task name, due date, project, tags) solely to determine which tasks are overdue and send you reminders. We never modify, create, or delete any data in your Asana account.
2. How we use your data
- To authenticate you and maintain your session
- To check for overdue tasks based on your configured rules
- To send email reminders to the address you specify
- To process subscription payments via PayPal (Pro plan)
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
3. Third-party services
We use the following third-party services:
- Asana API — to read your tasks (read-only access)
- Amazon SES — to deliver email notifications
- PayPal — to process Pro subscription payments
- Vercel — to host the application
- Neon (PostgreSQL) — to store your account data
4. Data retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you disconnect your Asana account or request deletion, we will remove all your data, including stored tokens, settings, and notification logs, within 30 days.
5. Security
OAuth tokens are stored encrypted at rest in our database. All communication between your browser, our servers, and third-party APIs is encrypted via TLS. We follow industry-standard security practices to protect your data.
6. Your rights
You can at any time:
- View and update your settings from the dashboard
- Revoke TaskPoke's access from your Asana account settings
- Request a full export or deletion of your data by contacting us
7. Cookies
We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use tracking cookies, analytics scripts, or any third-party advertising pixels.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you via email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
9. Contact
